Introduction

In today’s globally connected environment, distributed and remote teams are more common. Members of those teams work together online and rely on technology for communication. It is difficult to overstate the importance of effective communication in these teams. Without it, misalignment, difficulties with coordination, and lower productivity are all possible.
This thesis investigates efficient team communication methods for distributed and remote teams. Also it covers various communication-related topics, such as the use of technology, cultural factors, virtual meeting techniques, asynchronous communication strategies, and techniques for establishing rapport and trust. By exploring these issues, we can find workable solutions that support efficient communication and boost distributed teams’ collaboration, invention, and goal-setting.
